Yup enjoy ang Ad Class yesterday sa Robinsons Place Manila, sobrang lakas nang spirit nang mga group at mga cheers nila halos di ko na marinig sarili ko magsalita, wish ko lang na di sila uminom nang malamig na water kagaya nang ginawa ko and im suffering sore throat ngayon.

12 panelist from different groups and professions, di ko nga alam kung bakit ako nakasama nang liit tuloy akona itabi sa kanila at my God (Gonzales -Olivares-Derillo) thanks for aligning me to them from my former professors to the Gods and Goddess of Colleges, Advertising Agencies, Prints, and Video Editing. Nalula ako sa dami nang kasama kong judges, kung kinabahan ang mga front liners mas kabado kaming mga jugdes kung after nang pang ookray at panggigisa di kaya nila kami harangin at i-firing squad.

Nakakapagod magjudge sa ganitong event, di naman kasi madali ang maging harsh sa mga students lalo na sensitive pa sila di kagaya ko na sobrang kapal na nang mukha sa trabaho. Nakakapagod ang panoorin ang mga TVCs, MVs and listening sa mga presentation lalo na kung magagaling sila. Silver and Zinc ang talagang naglaban pero syempre natuwa naman ako at parang isang wave length kung mag isip ang mga jugdes though iilan lang kaming mga nang okray lalo na sa pagdating sa tvcs, print presentation at higit sa lahat ang budget proposal na halos mag nose bleed na ako, yes di ako maka MATH at ayaw na ayaw ko mag budget grrrrr!

Zinc was excellent, I thought wala nang tatalo pa sa pag set namin sa Silver as the team to beat, ok naman yung jingle nila I remember na I ask for a copy of the mp3 pero mas catchy ang sa Zinc, from their presentation, budget proposal, print ad at ang logo two thumbs up, pati ang mga front liners ok na ok sila wala akong masabi sana if they graduated sa media sila mag work I'm sure aangat sila.

Racist or Are We Just Reacting Exaggerately?

I'm not a Teri Hatcher or Desperate Housewives fan, but yes she mentioned the "Philippine Med" in her line but are we just over reacting, just because we're not done with Malu Fernandez, or are we just playing patriot? It's in the script where she says it but unlike with Claire Danes who says Manila smells like cockcroaches, and Malu's statement against the OFW, which is worst?

Manuel L Quezon Jr. has lots to say about racism in MLQ3' blog entry at ang sa wari ko di ba nagiging OA na tayo sa sobrang pagiging madamdamin nanting mga Pinoy na ang tingin natin sa mga komento nang mga taga ibang bansa patungkol sa atin ay isang pagmamaliit sa lahi o RACISM? Kainlan ba talaga nag uumpisa ang racism kung naaapakan na ang pagka PINOY natin o ang EGO natin?
