Raving mash-up from Sponge Cola and Chocosci at the Coca-Cola Concert ng Bayan

It’s just two days to go before the Coca-Cola Concert ng Bayan at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on March 23 and here’s something to look forward to – the Sponge Cola and Chocosci collaboration. Being a huge fan of the two popular bands in the country, expect a fusion of alternative pop rock from the group that will really give you that happiness and fun at the Coca-Cola Concert ng Bayan.

I had the chance to witness their rehearsal in Quezon Cityand seeing how they collaborate to each other you will see their passion in creating a perfect music that will really make the crowd happy and wild. I am hoping that Sponge Cola will perform “Bitiw” on March 23 and this was the song I usually played on my iTunes every time I really need an inspiration. I am sure that most of the followers of Sponge Cola (Yael Yuzon, Gosh Dilay, Armo Armovit and Tmac Cruz) will agree with me on the impact of the songs to everyone especially with the Filipino youth.

While ChicoSci who delivers a kind of song on a more “rock” approach with a twist of pop knows how to communicate to the youth on a more emotional message. Aside from that they also know how to give a new zest to old songs like what they did with the EMF’s Unbelievable. But of course my all time favorite is Breathe Again that they did in 2010. Lastly, the group that comprises by Miggy Chavez, Mong Alcaraz, Calde Calderon, Macoy Estacio and Ariel Lumanlan has their way in creating music video that is very catchy to the younger crowd.

Sponge Cola and Chicosci are only two of the bands and performers to look forward too at the Coca-Cola Concert ng Bayan on March 23. Keep posted for more details on who will be other bands joining this big event headed by Coca-Cola Music.

The Coca-Cola Concert ng Bayan is part of the 100 Years celebration of Coca-Cola in the Philippinesand their way to say thank you to their followers who welcomed them in their homes and lives as a refreshing drink in every occasion and bonding moments.
